Spirit of Arizona Tours doesn’t just show you Arizona but immerses you in the spirit and heart of Arizona. We want you to really experience, what makes Arizona the destination for tourists from all over the world. At Spirit of Arizona Tours, you’re not touring with a mystery tour guide. Your experience starts and stops with me. I have been guiding this state personally for over 10 years. I love this state. I love the history, the beauty and the mysterious that comes with it. My passion is having you experience what makes this state unique and delivering the quality tour you deserve. All of our stops are hand-picked for their diversity and uniqueness with many of the tours we offer not available through other agencies. I have been guiding and personally exploring this state for many years and know what will stand out to make your experience as memorable as possible. I’ve worked for the state of Arizona in their history department and in 2018 I coauthored a presentation at the Arizona state historic preservation conference. I’ve also had the privilege of assisting with curating a Wyatt Earp exhibit in the city of Tombstone’s courthouse museum. My strongest field of knowledge is history, but I am very well versed in desert ecology, botany and zoology. Loving the state and all great locations that I do; all of our stops are hand-picked. No other tours explore the variety of locations that we do.

Our ghost tours share mysterious stories of intrigue, homicide, and lawlessness. Venture into a well-preserved ghost town that's listed on the national registry of historic places. Our most popular excursion, the Haunted Phoenix Pub Tour, visits three pubs with a dark and mysterious past. Arizona is the sixth largest state physically and is perhaps best known for its weather and geography. Southern Arizona features a hot desert climate, while northern Arizona is full of forests, mountain ranges and canyons. There are several national parks, monuments and forests in the state, including the Grand Canyon.

Most frequent questions and answers

Most likely. For multi-party tours our range of pick up is slightly modified for tour timing purposes. If it is a private tour we can almost certainly pick up and drop off at your desired location.
Comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Snacks if you prefer. Make sure to check the weather reports because the weather at our destination is often different than the Phoenix area.
Car seat aged children are allowed on private tours only. Booster seats are allowed on all tours.
Water is provided on all day tours. You may bring any beverage you would like. Must be in a closed containers and cans allowed. Absolutely no glass allowed on board for safety reasons.
Lunch is not included. You will receive ample time and suggestions for lunch at our featured destinations.
Unfortunately, there is not. However, we do make frequent stops on all tour routes.
